Wireless barcode readers can capture and transmit wirelessly to a base which can be found at a distance of 30 meters. Their construction is sturdy, the battery can capture thousands of barcodes before becoming exhausted and are interchangeable in the event that the operating shift exceeds the battery life. If the reader is outside the coverage area of the base, you can save data in memory and then transmit them when you find new coverage. It is also possible to associate several readers to the same base.   Depending on their nature, linear imagers can read 1D, while the area imagers can read two-dimensional or 2D codes.   They can be connected to various equipment such as personal computers, computer terminals, portable terminals, cash registers, etc., through many interfaces such as USB, Keyboard Wedge, RS-232 or IBMPOS 46XX Systems. Their main application environment is in the financial sector, retail, logistics, transportation and manufacture.
